ABOUT US

Our aim is to promote the sport of Gridiron in Western Australia, providing players and families the opportunity to be involved in an organized high-energy summer sport and to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. Gridiron in WA provides rare opportunities in a contact sport, such as the ability to field a team of players of varying sizes, weights, ages, and skill levels - with the ability to compete against each other fairly and safely.

The club was originally established in 1989, in the West Australian Gridiron Football League. We were one of the inaugural clubs in the freshly formed Gridiron West competition in 1994. There is currently 8 clubs in Gridiron West. We are the equal the most successful club in the competition with 6 Championship titles to our name, including a back-to-back-to-back ‘threepeat’! We currently field teams in the Men’s and Junior’s (U19s) competitions. After a recent dry spell in onfield success, we are looking to rebuild the club and once again take the competition by storm!

We are based out of John Moloney Park in Marangaroo with a player base spreading all the way from the coast, to Wanneroo in the North, Ellenbrook in the East, and Claremont in the South. The Gridiron West competition has teams from all over the Perth area, as far South as Rockingham.

We have an excellent record of training players to State and National representative levels, at one stage fielding the entire National team Defensive backline!
