One of the oldest and most successful gridiron clubs in Western Australia is entering a women’s team into the Gridiron West competition this year for the first time! Recognising that women’s tackle football is one of the most popular and fastest growing sports in the world, the Westside Steelers want to inspire women and girls to dream big and hit hard. Gridiron is a uniquely inclusive sport, so we’ll need players of all body types and fitness levels, regardless of experience.

The sport has seen successful women play aged as young as 14 all the way to 65 years old, demonstrating that there truly is a position on the field for everyone.
